![]() ![]() The Jackson Fusion HH features an HH pickup. As such, expect to see this guitar get some serious hardware upgrades soon, and maybe a couple of interesting mods TBD. The Jackson Fusion HH is part of the Jackson Professional Series made in Japan at the Chushin Gakki factory. ![]() Since the HH was one of the later Fusions made after Jackson started cheapskating on the Japanese models, this has the TRS trem rather than the Schaller that the early ones had. U.S.-made Fusions might be poplar, but I'm not sure-some are probably custom orders. Apart from the trans HH's, all the other Japanese Fusions have basswood. Totally Armed to the Teeth.Two guitar icons come together in the Charvel Pro-Mod DK24. The mahogany body is why these are sought-after nowadays, even though prices are still only a little higher than the regular Japanese Fusion models command, apart from maybe the original 1990-91 Fusion Pro, which has the ebony fretboard and U.S.-style appointments. For those who don't don't know the Fusion series at all, it's one of the few 24.75" scale guitars that Jackson has made over the years-it's a 'fusion' of Gibson and Jackson that way, hence the name. For those who don't know, the HH model was a short-lived version that featured dual humbuckers and a mahogany body on the trans-finish version (the black ones had basswood). ![]() Just got my 1994-95 Jackson Fusion HH today. ![]()
